2. Personal data we collect
- Team registration form: team name, club/school, country, city, coach name, phone, email, competition level, gender category, age group, squad size, preferred dates, visa requirement flag, free-text notes.
- Contact enquiries: name, email, message content.
- Newsletter: email address.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device and cookie identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use your data and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and organising your tournament participation — performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps.
- Sending newsletters and marketing — consent (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests.
- Complying with legal obligations (accounting, safeguarding) — legal obligation.
4. Children and safeguarding
Our tournaments involve young athletes. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Registrations must be submitted by a coach, teacher, guardian or club representative who confirms they have appropriate parental/guardian consent for the players concerned.
5. Sharing your data
We share data with trusted processors and partners strictly as needed to deliver our services: our website and database provider (Lovable / Supabase), email providers, tournament venues, accommodation and travel partners (only where you have asked us to arrange these). We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
7. Retention
We keep enquiry and registration data for as long as needed to provide the service and then for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, accounting and safeguarding purposes (typically up to 6 years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) or the AEPD (Spain). To exercise any of these rights, email sienna@me2.es.
